Lost River Development - Horace, ND

Lowry Engineering completed the master planning and design engineering on the 206 acre Lost River Subdivision in Horace, ND. This project required coordination with various entities such as the City of Horace, Cass Rural Water, SE Cass Water Resource District and the US Army Corps of Engineers.

By understanding infrastructure design and planning elements, we were able to leverage the open space for parks, trails, and water amenities, while blending the existing oxbow, trees, and winding river into the design of the subdivision.

The development master plan includes 400-homes and a ±6-acre park that consists of a full-size soccer field, hockey rink, multiple playgrounds, baseball diamond, warming house, a picnic area and walking trails.
