Prairie Flats Townhomes - Second Addition

Project Summary:
Lowry Engineering, along with Neset Land Surveys, recently completed the platting, civil design, and construction inspection on nine (9) new, 2-unit townhomes in Wahpeton, ND. The project started with re-platting to combine 3 existing lots into what is now referred to as Prairie Flats Second Addition. Working alongside the owner, we developed a layout to fit the new buildings and driveways using a shared drive lane. New sanitary sewer and water mains were routed through the property with individual services to each unit. Stormwater is collected in the center roadway and directed into a small ponding area in the northwest corner of the lot, before it enters the existing ditch.

We were able to successfully complete this project, without rerouting the existing telephone line that runs through the site. Construction on the utilities and shared drive lane began in June of 2023 and was completed in August of 2023.
