Alpha Gamma Delta House - Fargo, ND

The Alpha Gamma Delta House is a proposed 11,359 square-foot sorority house located near North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND. The existing sorority house is located on the same site as the proposed house, and it will be demolished as the first phase of construction. Lowry Engineering worked closely with the City of Fargo to ensure the site functioned with architectural and site design needs by obtaining a conditional use permit for parking reduction, and an approval for deviation from city code for a wider driveway. Grading on-site was a challenge to provide ADA accessibility at all four entrances. Due to required utility work on 12th and 11 ½ St. N., a traffic control plan was implemented into the plans per MUTCD standards. Construction on the house will start in summer of 2018, and it is anticipated to be completed by summer of 2019.
