Dollar Generals - Multiple Locations

Lowry Engineering worked with the Developer and Architecture Team on the design and construction for dozens of Dollar Generals in communities around North Dakota, South Dakota, and Nebraska.

Coordination with state agencies, such as the NDDOT and Department of Health, local gas, electric and cable providers, as well as city engineers and public works entities, was a crucial part to the success of these projects.

For many Dollar General sites, the design of stormwater detention facilities was required to ensure stormwater runoff release rates, do not over indicate downstream stormwater inlets, pipes, or ponds. Creation of erosion and sedimentation control plans for each site was also necessary, to ensure the surrounding areas were not negatively affected by sediment during/after construction.
