NDSU Hasting Hall - Fargo, ND

Lowry Engineering worked with Shultz & Associates Architects to complete the design for the Hastings Hall Addition on NDSU’s main campus in Fargo, ND. Work included a building addition at the main entrance, demolition of an existing greenhouse, and new sidewalk and utility services. Challenges encountered included maintaining ADA accessibility while minimizing the amount of adjacent parking lot that had to be replaced as well as coordinating utility locations and depths in the older portion of the building and working around existing established trees. Construction began in May of 2020.
