Staybridge Suites - Raleigh, NC

Lowry Engineering completed the Civil Design for a 107 Unit/4.5 Story Staybridge Suites Hotel on the northwest side of Raleigh, NC. Initial tasks involved rezoning the property to achieve the appropriate density required through the City of Raleigh. Grading of the site was a challenge due to the existing topography. The site is heavily wooded with a creek running along the south and west sides and a vertical drop of 42’ from the northeast to southwest corner. The hotel will include a walk out basement with an outdoor patio located above the pool. Lowry Engineering also worked closely with the City to meet the strict stormwater quality and runoff requirements.
